Refund Policy

ThoughtSapien is a subscription-based software service. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for purchases of the service.

1. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing portal when available, or by contacting us at hello@thoughtsapien.com. When you cancel, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

2. Refunds

Because ThoughtSapien provides immediate access to digital software and AI-powered learning features, payments are generally non-refundable after a subscription period has started.

3. Refund eligibility

We may issue a full or partial refund if you were charged because of a technical or billing error, you were unable to access the service due to a verified issue on our side, or a refund is required by applicable law. Refunds are not guaranteed for unused time, lack of use, change of mind, or failure to cancel before a renewal.

4. Effect of approved refunds

If a refund is approved, we may reverse the credits or learning time associated with the refunded payment. If those credits have already been used, your account may show a reduced or negative credit balance until future credits are applied. Subscription access follows the cancellation or lifecycle state reported by our payment provider.

5. How to request a refund

Refund requests must be sent to hello@thoughtsapien.com within 14 days of the charge. Please include the email address used for purchase, the charge date, and a short description of the issue so we can review the request.

6. Trials

If a free trial is offered, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription may renew automatically according to the plan terms shown at checkout.

7. Processing

Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider shown at checkout, such as Dodo Payments or another payment provider, back to the original payment method where supported. It may take several business days for the refund to appear depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment method.

8. Legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region. If applicable law gives you a non-waivable refund, cancellation, or withdrawal right, that right will continue to apply.
